NFL teams aren’t that high on Sanders it was the sports media and mock drafters that artificially inflated his value
We don't know any of that is true. Hardly anyone has actually said anything about him and his value is still largely speculative. His "fall" seems to be more from certain media members if anything.

This reminds me of so many weak QB drafts that the combine tries to hype up middling players to create excitement.
Strange things can happen, it wouldn't even surprise me to see Dart go before Sanders in late April.
On the Riley Leonard front, no, not my guy. Not only did he play for Notre Dame, many of his deficiencies seem to mirror Rick Mirer's and he even looks like he could be related to him. Not Joe Cool.
No thanks.

Bro. Why you gotta do us like that - I just had to call my therapist for an emergency Rick Mirer session.

I might be in the minority, but I don't think Sanders is gonna' be anything more than an average NFL QB.
Can't disagree with this. The entitlement just drips off of him. Let us not forget that he left the field before the games end last year when CU was getting smashed by some team or another. They played it off like he was injured after the fact - but that is crap. He flat out went to the locker room before the game was over after he got pulled. That says some not so great things about his attitude in my book.

Not sold on him.

Helicopter Dad/Coach.
Not performing at combine.
Name recognition media hype.
Protecting draft stock shows lack of confidence.
Blah, blah self promotion/lack of humility.
Double diamond necklace just gonna Amp UP^ opposing defenses.

That all said, I remember when his Dad burst onto the league with the sunglasses, fancy leather jacket, diamond earrings and big cross necklace with the media teaming around him. Quite a spectacle for that day & time.
I remember the first time I saw Deion Sanders on TV he made an INT and ran it back for a TD. Later in the game Deion was back to recieve a punt and I said to myself *OK Deion, if you're so good let's see you run this punt back*
And he did.

Part of me wonders if that might be the case with Shedeur, but I really doubt it.
QB is a different position and there is only one Deion.

None of the top QB prospects work out at the combine anymore. They're advised not to.
They did last year.

Anyways of all the QBs, just take Will Howard or Tyler Shough. Probably get one of them in the 3-4th. I don’t see any upside in taking a QB in the 1-2, when there isn’t much difference between them and Howard or Shough

Williams, Daniels, and Maye participated in a combined zero of the drills. Williams even declined the medical, which is unheard of. McCarthy did just the 3 cone and shuttle. Nix and Penix were the only of the first-round QBs to participate in throwing drills, although neither did any of the other testing.

The top guys basically just get measured at the combine and do everything else at their Pro Day.

I saw that game , Prime was Prime and backed it up.
His son is nothing like his father was besides running his mouth.

So basically like every great former players sons.

It’s really the Mannings, and then no one else. And it can be argued Archy wasn’t even that great. He won exactly nothing. so really the Mannings don’t count.

He was locked into a team, Archie was a lights out QB and landed with the Saints who could not draft or build anything, he was actually a mobile QB in the image of Staubach more than Tarkenton, People think because a QB doesn't win a Super Bowl he must suck.

Pastorini, Manning, Fouts, Marino all must of sucked ass according to your standards. Ken O' Brien was a very good QB also, just stuck in what became the nightmare destination for almost all drafted QB's. The New York Jets.

Players landing on teams that have a lousy front office or ownership can be broken, they can never go anywhere since the supporting cast also has to be there. This blanket statement shit just pisses me off.

Archie isn’t the same as those other QBs. He never even had a winning record. Far different from not winning a SB

He was Drafted to an expansion team, David Carr like situation, Saints could never get out of their own way as far as bringing in good players.

The Saints were among the NFL's least successful franchises in their first several decades, where they went 20 consecutive seasons without a winning record or qualifying for the playoffs. They earned their first winning record and postseason berth in 1987.

Manning was drafted in 1971 John Mecom Jr. era (1967–1984) he never won anything, it was after he sold them to Tom Benson finally and things got better. Also they were in the NFC West from 1970 - 2001 You know that division with the 49ers and Rams who were basically dynasty's for those eras.

There's a giant delta between Cam Ward and Shough or will Howard. Gigantic.

Like what? Ward is solid, but then he likes to throw picks when it matters most. I don’t trust him.
