Sorry, no link. Just saw Rappoport report it at the combine. Don’t have compensation either.

I know he’s still owed $21 million. Not sure how many years left.

Maybe him going for a 5th rounder takes some heat off the alleged DK to the Packers trade (which I’m firmly against).

Commanders slowly leaving the laughing stock of the NFL to one of the top SB contenders. Thats a huge weapon for Daniels (anticipating that Deebo attitude is because the fall out with the niners). Gonna be interesting seeing him along with McLaurin

DK: at his prime with untagged potentials, ceiling yet to be seen.
Deebo: over the hill, on his way down from his ceiling.
Debo never looked over the hill vs Seattle

Deebo had a terrible season last year . Dropped balls, only averaged 3 ypc. Not surprised he asked for a trade. It seemed his head was not in the game last year. I think the niners drafting Pearsall ticked him off . I’ll miss him if he plays like 2021 or 22 Deebo , but 2024 Deebo was just a below average dude

2024 Deebo may have been below average, but he wasn't a bottom dweller like the 2024 9ers were. My first post ever was to you, predicting last year's down fall while sports media were all on the 9er train. I think the teams slide has just begun. You've already seen the best of CMC, BA, Bosa and Kittles decline won't be far behind. I can't wait to see Purdy get paid. With the Superbowl window being closed for now I don't see any FA wanting to go to santa clara unless they overpay. I foresee a rebuild on the 9ers horizon.
As I have spoken, let it be so.

Probably several considerations into this.. Purdy's new contract, they have faith in JENNINGS and the other fella, Percels?, and they still have ayuke.

Good teams move on from bad contracts. The Seahawks made a few FA signings in 2024 that didn't work out. The team moved on from those players. Samuel is due $17.5M in 2025 and he didn't look like a $10M player in 2024. A 5th round pick is better than nothing.

To me this begs the question just how good do they think Purdy can be in his own? Curious to see what they do with their first pick in the draft.
He is hardly on his own yet? He was on his own last season with Aiyuk and CMC out and Deebo playing like a JAG

I could see edge , OL , DL , corner, WR , TE with the first pick. It really is a mystery

Good to be wishful . There is still a lot of talent on that team that had a lot of injuries and other circumstances last year. Two pro bowlers lost children and the first overall pick got shot. I look at the 2025 list of teams to play and the only playoff teams are Tampa, the rams, and Houston.
People wrote off the Eagles last year too
