I like Darnold a lot better at $35M per than what I assumed would be $40+. This extends our bridge so we don’t have to do anything... -
WA fair thing to be skeptical of but I'm fine with it at this point because the contract isn't crippling if we move on after a year or 2.

Geno and Darnold are incredibly similar. But now we have a third round pick, more cap space, and got younger.
