Russell Knows. For him, baseball is just a hobby. I seriously doubt this will effect his NFL career. The only thing I'd be concerned about is injury, but its baseball, he's more likely to be injured working out
was i the only one that thought he looked better in the preseason than Willson? I think this might be a case of the coaches going with their hearts instead of their heads.
I think this signing does a number of things for us.
Increases competition at WR spot
Insurance- can come back mid-way through the year or make 53 if there's injuries
Gives our guys on defense a WR with a different skill set to go up against
It would be nice if we sign him and cut Quinn on the same day. He's a shoe-in for #2 no point of even having any sort of "competition". He already knows the offensive terminology and most of the playbook.
