Much respect to the Seahawks and the majority of the fans on here. The hawks didn't play like the team I've watched these past few years but they never gave up the fight and I'll always respect fighters. I know the hawks will right back in the hunt next year. Speedy recovery to the injured...
I imagine they would be at best the same since Dallas O is run through the ground game thus Russ would have been throwing a lot less. Especially considering Dak only attempted 26 more passes than Brady in 4 more games.
By definition of the rules it was indeed a penalty as was the ensuing DPI by Sherman so it should have been offsetting penalties and replay the down. However I maintain that in real time there is not a ref in the league that would have called that on Julio or any other wide receiver. Sherman...
With all due respect the Hawks have a pretty tall order as well. This isn't the Mike Smith Falcons and Matt Ryan clearly is playing at an MVP level. The Hawks defense still demands respect but it will have to bring it's A game to slow this offense down
Lots of homerism on both sides of the fence on this thread. As usual the truth lies in between the 2 extremes and I expect the game to go much like the matchup from earlier this year. A hard fought game decided by 3pts or less good luck to the hawks I hope my dirty birds pull off the win though.
been watching football for over 30 years at every level and I can't recall a single year where refs didn't make bad calls. The refs are only human they can't see everything and don't have the benefit of watching slow mo replays before making a call. I watched the entire saints-seahawks game...
Well this Falcon's fan doesn't want you to feel sorry for us. The officiating was crappy all game long going both ways. Congrats on the hard fought win. I'm proud of the showing from my Falcons in a hostile environment against a great team. We may not be there yet, as some pundits are saying...
I predict a Falcons win 24-17 can't discount the fact that the falcons practice every day against the same scheme you guys run and Kyle has been calling some amazing games so far. History suggests you guys tend to come out flat after bye weeks and that doesn't bode well facing the best offense...
not true matt ryan, Julio, Trufant, alford are the only starters (not counting kickers) to play in that game in 2013 I'd say we are a completely different team from 2013
Atlanta only has 5 players on this years team that was on the team that was blown out by the Hawks in 2013 (2 on offense 3 on defense) not sure that counts as a core group. Additionally Matt Ryan is 4-1 vs the Hawks under PC including 2 wins in Seattle and a win in the playoffs
A Falcon fan checking in wishing you guys luck on sunday. It's shaping up to be a good game (hopefully injury free). Feels like it could go either way and I would feel no shame with the Falcons losing on the road in one of the toughest venues in the league (of course I feel like my team will win)
