I might agree with take if the OLine shows significant improvement next season AND Milrose shows promise. If not then this pick may come back to haunt JS.
Really like the Zabel pick and the Emmanwori selections. A
Arroyo is good but I would rather have had Scourton. B
Milroe is interesting but at the 92nd pick why not take a flyer on Sanders there. Totally shocked he's gone undrafted. C
I can't help but wonder if the change in blocking scheme is the reason behind not drafting more help for the OLine. Does Kubiak think he can get more out of what he has with the change and is that why they didn't do more?
Maybe we'll see more on day 3.
We don't know if Amari Cooper has had a sharp decline. The QB situation in Cleveland has been a joke and he clearly didn't mesh with Allen in Buffalo. Is this all because Cooper's skills are in decline or because he didn't have a stable QB situation last year? I think it's too early to call it...
And I and many here would take either of them if the price was right because they still have something to offer. You could say Cooper Kupp is in the same position but that didn't stop JS.
Cooper has over 10,000 receiving yards, Lockett has 8,594 and they both came into the league the same year. The guy doesn't suck. If we can get him cheap, I'm all for it.
I think this take on him is a bit harsh. He's been on on 3 teams for most of his career and was very productive with all of them. His fourth team was Buffalo but only for a hot minute. Cooper was traded because the debacle going in Cleveland with Watson. Plus they had no rapport/chemistry and...
Lets get all the Coopers!
He's only a season removed from a 1250 yard outing. Yeah he's about to be 31 but if he's cheap I'd be fine with it. More targets for Darnold can't be a bad thing.
