His picks were flukey? Please watch this game again and you’ll see that he should have had 2 more picks right into the defenders hands. There’s hardly a flip flopping fan base when it comes to Geno. We have been critical of Geno all along because he hasn’t done sh** when it comes to big games...
This game was absolutely on Geno. Those who say otherwise is delusional. He cost us alone 13-21 points twice in the red zone and the pick six killed us. All we needed was one of those field goals and if he would have just played average this game wouldn’t have been close.
I’ve been super ready for a rebuild instead of just hanging on to mediocre. John has to go then start rebuilding around another QB. Geno is average at best and he’ll never take us far enough. Meanwhile, I’ll still root for hawks no matter what but we need changes.
When was the last time you've seen Geno pull out of a comeback win against a good team? I know there are more problems besides Geno on this team but this dude has his fair share of blundering a win as much as he has comeback wins. Since 2022 he has only completed a comeback against two teams...
It is a blown opportunity IMO. Similar to a running back/receiver breaking wide open for 70 yards only to flip the ball out of his hands 1 yard shy of a TD because he thought he got there already. You can praise them all you want on how they got there but for not having the awareness to finish...
Mistakes happened..but a great player keeps it to a bare minimum. All I know is that there is guy named Maholmes that played last night and both times he reached for the first down and made it by inches. Hence why they won that game and we didn’t.
It wasn't a business decision to prevent injury especially coming from Geno. He's a gamer but where he is lacked at is IQ. How often have we seen Geno run out of bounds to lose yardage or not throwing the freakin ball away to avoid a sack and many other silly things due the lack of awareness...
Totally agree and awesome analysis!! My other speculation is that Pete didn’t have it registered in his head that they could possibly get another timeout after a touchback. Perhaps he was just thinking that they only had 2 timeouts left?
I still don’t understand what the argument here is. Even with the worst defense in the league still post a significant higher chance on stopping the opposing team for a 3 and out than a miracle recovery of an onside kick.
Don’t give me this crap about Meyers couldn’t kick it far enough when all...
No one has really mention about Pete’s late game debacle of series of bad decisions or was it just me that saw them.
Time was going against us and he threw a red flag to contest the call that was nowhere close to overturning and we then lost a timeout. Onside kick with 2:01 left where if we...
Not to mention burning a timeout without any certainty to overturn it late in this game when was crucial. Then an onside kick with 2:01 left where the clock would have been stopped prior to 2-minute warning for kicking it in the endzone and it could have been used as a timeout. I’m done with...
