    I’m sure there’s a legitimate backup QB that can be gotten in the 5th-7th round. No one is drafting a player rated that low in the first few rounds let alone the top ten. FA is where it’s going to be with regards to backup players and possible starters @QB.

    This isn’t the draft to be getting a QB. Smart teams will trade down or stay put and draft BPA. Build the team with the draft and bring in another QB in FA to compete with Geno. This is the one draft you don’t want the #1 pick. Lock did the giants a huge favor

    It isn’t as if it will be an even swap. it took 3 first round picks and then some to move from 12 to 3 in the 2021 draft for the niners to draft Trey Lance. The only reason he didn’t start was because he hadn’t played in over a year prior to the season due to Covid.

    Riley has always had a bad defense. Not to mention, QBs that comes from his teams prove to be overrated in most cases. BTW, you didn’t address Williams turning down medicals.

    E what you would need to give up in order to Draft Maye would force your hand. At best he sits the first few games Behind someone other than Geno . Cause Geno would be included in the trade to get Maye.

    his injury history but mostly he has shown he doesn’t handle pressure very well. He tends to lose his composure for lack of a better word. Most NFL teams don’t have the luxury of having all-pros at every position on the oline.

    Geno was not drafted in 2021. Geno sucked for the vast majority of his career and is now maybe a notch above sucking. There’s a reason he was signed to a glorified one year contract.
