    Wilson's next team?

Except as part of the "group of team officials," Schneider does not have veto authority over a decision on who gets admitted to the ROH. Besides, JS would have to be awfully damn petty to hold a grudge for that long. Seattle Seahawks Name: Ring of Honor How voting works: A group of team...

    Wilson's next team?

There's no way he doesn't get in the ROH. He could get cut from a Power Puff football team and still make the ROH. When he left here, I felt that he was on the bubble for a gold jacket, that he needed either another ring or a league MVP. IMO Russell senses that, too, which is why he's...

    Wilson's next team?

The Titans are supposedly one possible landing spot.

    Wilson's next team?

Russell would have been one of my ATF Hawks if he had retired in 2015. Russell played minor league baseball here in the Tri Cities long before his NFL days. Him and several of his teammates stayed at a host parent's house during the summer, and just prior to the SB, the local paper did a...

    Wilson's next team?

That's my take, too. Russ has isolated himself from the rest of the world, lives in a bubble, mentally screens out anything negative, sees only the good things said about him, lives in the past. In other words, he's tone deaf. It's truly sad, because he's basically a good guy, or at least I...

Are the Raiders in trouble already?

Darnold was a free agent and wouldn't have signed a one-year contract. He obviously had better offers. And why trade valuable draft capital and pay him $31M for a one-year rental when you're in a rebuild mode?

Are the Raiders in trouble already?

That's what it sounds like to me. The original intention was for us to re-sign Geno, but when his side didn't even make a counteroffer, we pulled the trigger immediately and traded him while we could. If that's how it came down, then it was truly a stroke of genius by JS. Rather than pussy...

    OT Walter Jones

I got to shake hands with Big Walt. We were at a rally of sorts at a pub in London and a bunch of Seahawks VIP's were in a restricted area of the pub but had to walk through the main floor to reach the bathrooms. Walt was walking right past me, and I stepped in front of him and extended my...

    Wilson's next team?

That's a fair opinion. There was a definite and distinct change in Russell's personality after he married Ciera. He went from the wholesome, high school sweetheart, girl next door type in his first marriage to a slutty, gang banger skank in his second wife. But it doesn't erase what he did...

    Wilson's next team?

As I read through this thread and chuckle at some of the comments, there's a part of me who feels sorry for Russell. He's not a bad guy. He didn't rape anybody's sister or steal grandma's purse. And he was a huge part of what was the best period of Seahawk football in franchise history and...

    Wilson's next team?

Yeah, that's a possibility, like the ultimate drama queen, Brett Favre. I do think that he wants a gold jacket and realizes that he needs another ring or league MVP to get over the hump, so I don't think he retires. But the list is getting shorter.

    DK to steelers

Our offense Opened up our offense? We were middle of the road offensively. Plus, whatever benefit Metcalf brought to the table has to be weighed against his deficits, like his sloppy route running and his ball security. Metcalf isn't garbage. He's a solid NFL receiver. But he's not a top...

    Your Mood Meter....

There's still a long way to go in this offseason, but so far, so good IMO. I was never a huge Geno fan and even less of a Metcalf fan. Now we have a bunch of cap space and draft capital, including 5 picks in the top 100, to address the glaring needs on this team, the IOL and edge/LB.

    Darnold Works

This has our OC's fingerprints all over it. Darnold and Kubiak worked together in SF so they obviously felt that Darnold was a better fit for what we want to do vs. what Geno would have given us. It's a net plus in terms of salary cap, plus Darnold is a couple years younger and coming off his...

    DK to steelers

I never have been a Metcalf fan, so I'm delighted with the trade. No one was going to give us a #1 for him, so this is the best we could do. Now let's use the draft capital and cap savings to concentrate on filling holes on the IOL and LB/edge. Don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord...
