    How fast will Zabel adapt?

How am I taking this too seriously? I posted my thoughts on the guy as a player, which were pretty mild but seem to be the only comments that even skew negative in the thread. You proceeded to post multiple paragraphs about doubters, including saying they're not objective because they're...

    How fast will Zabel adapt?

I'm confused. The pick seems fairly popular with near unanimous approval. I just don't see anyone doing what you're saying here.

    How fast will Zabel adapt?

They're crucial in different ways. Kubiak is a zone disciple - specifically running a ton of outside zone. You want that to run like a well oiled machine and the center is of large importance in Kubiak's scheme, like most schemes, as the general of the line. They're going to be calling...

    How fast will Zabel adapt?

I'm still concerned about his anchor. I say this because my first experience with him was watching every senior bowl rep. He's not getting blown past, but he is giving up a concerning amount of space on bull rushes that'd affect the pocket in real play. I'm still seeing his best fit as center...

Schneider or McDonald- catalyst for draft philosophy change?

An answer that many people probably don't want to consider: The board. The board fell in a way that allowed JS to do both in a natural, BPA-style manner.

This is the best draft in over 10 years

I liked the 2022 (maybe 2023 too) draft better, personally - but we have absolutely been drafting well lately. Years straight now of enjoyable drafts.

    Pick 192: Bryce Cabeldue

We have to draft his cousin next - "Steve Lightbill."

    Pick 192: Bryce Cabeldue

Super athletic and decent enough length to provide tackle depth, even if he moves inside. Lot of decent tackle film. I like his chances to be a passable NFL swing tackle than I do Zabel, who also obviously better than Cabeldue and played tackle in college but is more "IOL only" than Cabeldue is...

POLL: Are You A Draft Grumbler?

If we catch him wearing a "Free Mustache Rides" t-shirt, I'm all in on the pick

    Pick 175: Robbie Ouzts

    Officially drafted as a fullback.

    Pick 175: Robbie Ouzts

Definitely going to be a key special teams blocker, but his role on offense is likely as a lead blocker either from various backfield alignments or as a move/inline lead blocker on multiple zone rush concepts.

POLL: Are You A Draft Grumbler?

I have an overall positive opinion of the draft. My least favorite pick has been the first pick we made, honestly. Otherwise, I mostly see a clear vision that I personally agree with and enjoy.

    Pick 175: Robbie Ouzts

Listed at tight end, but this guy is a lead blocker. Likely our fullback and absolutely built for a Kubiak offense.
