I didn’t see much of people claiming he was qbotf material. I saw people saying they wanted to see if he was better than Geno who also isn’t qbotf material.
I disagree. Kam was the most indispensable. Without kam, ET would not have been in position to exercise his raw talent and instincts. Go back and watch how often kam manipulated ET pre snap.
For me the Alexander vs lynch discussion always boils down to the same thing, Alexander was a gifted athlete while lynch was a football player. I prefer the football player.
If I remember correctly, chronic Pete time mismanagement and timeout abuse had us in a situation where we couldn’t just run 3 times. Passing on that down was the right call, but they should have had Wilson, lynch and at least one receiver rolling to the same side to give 3 safe options or throw...
Of course largent with the block that turned the big play into a touch down. The debate against him being the most important player in franchise history is a tough one.
For the holding/illegal contact I would like to see it be no first down if it occurs further than 5 yards back from the line to gain. Tired of seeing 3rd and 20s converted on hand fighting off the line of scrimmage and they will get another shot at the play 5 yards closer anyways.
