    there is no scenario where fans 'donate' to own part of the team. NFL ownership prohibits more than 25 owners of a team. The Packers are the exception and grandfathered in since the 1960's as publicly owned. Any scenario where fans pool their money to buy some of the Seahawks is impossible...

    correct. The Rams are the 2nd best team in the NFL. why would I want to play the 2nd best team if I can play the 6th or 9th best team? it's about getting to the Super Bowl, not bragging rights or 'beating the best to be the best'.

    not necessarily. we could get to the Super Bowl without ever facing the Rams or 49ers. we could play the Packers in the divisional round and then the Eagles in the NFC Championship.

    if you know you HAD to play them, then maybe. but if we play the Packers, the Eagles or 49ers could take out the Rams in the divisional game and we never see them.
