    Pretty much this. What difference does it make to draft earlier in a round when you're likely to take somebody 2 rounds too early anyway? In fairness to the scenario, though, it does add a pick. So it's not JUST draft order.

    They really are essentially negotiating with themselves. I would tend to doubt the story because I can't see the 'Boys being dumb enough to offer that much. On the open market, there's no way he breaks 30.

    I would probably scratch WR from your list of positions worth drafting in the first round, but other than that, largely agree. I also think drafting in the second half of the first round rather than the first half probably changes things up a bit. If there is a truly *special* player at, say...

    Not familiar with the monthly flow of revenue for the league, but it would seem to me that they aren't necessarily (or at least not yet) at risk of lost revenue.

    My guess, though I would be interested in seeing actual numbers, is that TV revenue is a lot more than stadium revenue. So if they have to do it without fans, they will.

    Thanks for the mention of Phil Haynes. He slipped my mind. I think our OL has a decent shot at being surprisingly good, and DEEP, especially at G. We could have a nice rookie surprise and even a couple Redshirt Revelations there. I'm very bullish on the interior the OL but quite concerned...
