Rick Mirer was fine until everyone figured out he couldn't throw to the left side. Luckly, that didn't seem to matter to the Bears when they gave the Hawks a 1st rder for him and Hawks drafted Shawn Springs with it.
If he's there at 18, I am REALLY hoping there's a team who's willing to jump back in and give us their 2nd, 3rd, and at least a 2nd if not a 1st in '26.
If they take a RB at 18, it's going to be like that scene in Draft Day where the 12's are protesting at the VMAC gate (or whatever gate that was in the movie)
I remember kicking the TV in '21 when the Hawks were finally up with Creed Humphrey still on the board...and then like everyone NOT from western Michigan, booked it to YouTube to find out who the hell Dee Eskridge was...
I watched a great deal of Dolphins games last season and he is definitely not the corner he used to be. Miami is either going to be stuck with him or agree to eat a significant amount of his contract.
I think they should, but I really don't think they will. I think the O-line will be addressed day 2. My gut says they're going to take the best defensive player on the board 1st. Hoping for Emmanwori.
