    I guess this is no longer an option. I am feeling better about the RG position, but Bitonio would have been a great upgrade for one Superbowl season.

    Sherman’s style of play reminds me of Gary Payton on the court. First he would get in an opponent’s head and then he would shut them down. Can’t overlook how good he was at run support and tackling.

    Verse is one of the best young edge rushers in football. I’m not alone here in wanting him to be a Hawk. I think we might be able to get him for a first and Uchenna Nwosu, and I expect John has already been exploring the options. Make it happen.

    I want to see Jared Ivey, Jamie Sheriff and Connor O'Toole develop. We have some talented edge rushers waiting in the wings. I wasn't too worried when Mafe left for the big coin, but I love this pickup.

    I would view Bitonio as an insurance policy for Sam. Every time I see Bradford pass blocking a premier DE I wonder if Darnold will be able to avoid injury.

    2026 DRAFT PICK #148: G Beau Stephens

    I like this pick, and I will like it even more if we sign Joel Bitonio as a free agent. Bitonio is still one of the best guards in football, and could mentor our young offensive linemen while they develop. Depth is a great thing.

    I have a feeling (I'm hoping) that John is targeting the interior O-line, but hasn't said a word about it. I would love to see us find a good one in the draft, and as a fall-back, get Joel Bitonio on June 1st to avoid losing a compensatory pick.
