September 12, 1976 -- at long last, my partner and I being able to settle in to our (then-inexpensive) season-ticket seats to watch the Hawks' first NFL game -- Sam McCollum caught 2 TD's from Zorn in a well-fought loss.
It's interesting that my 2017 post appeared out of nowhere ... I was wrong about Obi and Lamp, but I still maintain that a trade-down involving those draft picks could have been used to get someone better than Pocic.
While it seems to be a certainty that the there will be a trade-down of the Rd 2 pick, what player who might be available at that spot would cause them to use the pick?
Thoughts?
Agree 100% -- in the not-too-distant past, people were going to jail for possession of pot -- the marijuana = dangerous drug campaign was very effective for many years ... the ultra-conservative owners still have that mindset, so it is up to the NFLPA to put up a strenuous fight to change it.
