What's the logic for the A-Rod and RW comparison? I get that it's one Seattle star player saying they want to be here then leaving both times. However, one guy set the M's back and the other fetched picks we don't win the Superbowl this year without. Just seems like saying two movies are the...
It's ironic. If RW got hurt or w/e and retired in 2022 instead of demanding a trade, he's easily in the ROH and would have probably already raised the flag by now. The team almost certainly still only has 1 Lombardi without Spoon and co. RW would literally be appreciated more if he contributed...
Sherman hasn't done a retirement contract. Would the same chunk of people be against that because he signed with the 9ers and was critical of Carroll after leaving the team?
They could've beaten the Panthers afterward too. They have no excuses for not having home field and that's a close, winnable game for either team no matter where it's played.
Some people are reading forums on their phones in waiting rooms, buses, etc. where watching a video isn't practical. Posting the video without any commentary makes it kind of a tease because it's just a video link they can't do anything with atm whereas any commentary or notes can still be read.
One decade in Seattle
One losing season
Over 300 TDs
One Lombardi (our first Lombardi)
One trade demand (ends up being the foundation of Lombardi #2)
Look, he's an idiot, but what he contributed here is still ridiculous. Even the worst thing he ever did ended up being a historically one-sided...
For a SB contender, it's probably two firsts and maybe mid round pick for Verse. People have to remember he's a player they have no reason to trade away and your trade offer is there to give them one. Personally, I think Schneider is the last GM that should be saying "F them picks."
It's a scary move on paper. They are, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the off-season champions. How often do the off-season champs actually deliver though?
If you're making me bet money on outcomes here and adding a real penalty to being wrong, I'm betting on none of the above. Defense and ST are tough choices for improvement because the bar is so high. The offense has the most room to grow but also a newbie OC, no Charbs for a chunk of the...
"We're already getting your money and we're confident you won't watch something else while we chase someone else's."
I mean.. they're probably not wrong.
Along with extending the regular season, more games on more days will make them more money but eventually this reaches a point where we start feeling the same way about a random NFL game that we do about a random MLB or NBA game.
