I saw a magazine recently that had their list of top 10 Seahawks of all time. I believe the list was as follows.

Jones
Largent
Tez
Easley
Sherman
Wagner
Thomas
Russ
Alexander
Lynch

Would you agree with this list?
Others I believe, deserve consideration are Jacob Green and Mike Sinclair.

I cannot, in good conscience, make an all time list of (what I’ll label) a fan favorite list of all time Seahawks with a player who forced a trade. Therefore my list wouldn’t have Wilson on it.

Thomas did the samething, but oddly you don't mention him.

It's hard to say. I don't disagree with any of the players named yet my list would have my favorites, which some of these guys are.

For me, ET & RW can't hang on that list and I'd sooner include them in the Hutch category.
I don't think a top 10 list can be discussed without including Kam, Dave Brown and Jacob Green. I think you also have to give a big tip of the hat to Joe Nash for his longevity, impact & production.
Fan favorites not to soon be forgotten like John L Williams, Rufus Porter & Fredd Young were huge talents/producers that carried some Bobo sentiment with them.
And then there's Jimmy Zorn.

Based on what he did for us while here, there's no way Russell is NOT on the Top 10 all-time list. Put your hurt feelers and ego aside and how his career ended with us, and hell yes he should be Top 10 all-time.

Yeah, I think the criteria has to be defined first to make a list.

Based on stats and impact on the field I agree, based on being a Seahawk team mate and Franchise representive, no.

Sure if you’re talking stats alone, but as a fan being a top 10 Seahawk is way more than stats.

Russell Wilson's body of work puts him #16 alltime between Tarkenton and C Palmer and there is no question he is the greatest Seahawk QB ever.
I just think the LOB defense & Lynch had something to do with his success. Positionally I think Wilson ranks differently than Largent, Jones, Cortez, Easley & Wagner who would have alltime league status at their respective positions as opposed to a Seahawks exclusive list.
I am not placing an asterisk next to RW's name or necessarily ranking him outside the top ten.
Just saying some inside the top 10 are HOFers and some are not (yet) and though RW3 is 100% the greatest Seahawk QB ever, he is not to alltime NFL QB's what WJ71 is to alltime NFL LT's. The same with Largent, Cortez, Easley Wagner.
I'm just saying there is a top 5 that is engraved and a lower five not yet engraved in stone yet and with 10 being a finite number I think it's healthy to have that conversation.
With time a name or two could change. Let's say Darnold wins a couple more SB's and plays at his present level, does he overtake RW?
Sherman is widely considered our best CB ever with 32 Hawk INTs (37 career total) but Dave Brown 50 Hawk INT (62 career total) gets ignored.

It's OK to have the conversation without being accused of never having tried the dangerwich.
Russell Wilson top 10? Yes. But maybe not forever.

100%! How so many fans forget that this guy was pure magic for a team that had a crappy OL for so long. He had a never quit attitude that was infectious for some time on the team. He’s the best Seahawk quarterback all time and it’s not even close.

I can understand that but if they are talking the most productive, stat-wise player, Russ is definitely Top 10. If the list is just "Fan Favorite" or "Seahawk Representative" then nope.

In my personal top 10 is 1775691497939. So much fun watching this guy do fake kicks. Hilarious. I don’t think the stat chart goes low enough for him but as for reason to watch the Hawks in the early years. He was definitely one.
