People are obsessed with Wilson to the point its odd to me but like you said "you do you" I just know for 10 years he was a monster for this team and his peak stretch is all time good. He's living rent free in people's heads and I can't figure out why.
He became an attention "monster".. Monster Me3!

Cheering? That's funny. So now youre trying to diminish his performance during his time here. Are you even remotely serious?

Ya, nothing special but break records behind some of the worst seahawks lines in their history. Same with Geno. Guess that's why he gets all the hate too.
He's been on 4 different teams and its always the lines fault.

People saying Russ sucked when there was a year he had 37 of our 38 touchdowns, we had a historically bad running game and a league worst defense and we sill won 10 games. He lead the league in passing touchdowns and total touchdowns in the worst environment possible. What a selfish jerk for wanting a coach to fix those issues after he refused to for years leading up to that and never for years after that.

The Wilson was average trope is cornballish, sorry.
Yeah its cool hate Pete but not Russ. Sounds like a whole lot of bias. What has Russ shown since he left Pete to say that it was always the line. Giving Russ all the credit and bashing the rest of the team.

Since you had to bring up lines, no matter where he's played, he's been among the most sacked every year he's started and finished.
It's a fact he's close to the top of the most sacked QB in history because he refused to
just toss the ball away and wanted to make a hero play in over half of those sacks at
least in my opinion.
Some of them happened when he changed the call at the line without reading the defense
correctly.
There were other times he just held the ball too long while being slow to process.
Buying him a line would have to involve him taking a pay cut.

I will be forever grateful to Wilson for the contributions he made to the team and continues to make. He was the QB of the Super Bowl winning team and for that I’m grateful.
He is also, in a way contributing to the current team. Where would this team be without me3 forcing his way out? Where would this team be without Cross, Witherspoon, Mafe, and Hall? They got a damn good haul for him at the right time. This team wouldn’t look nearly the same without the picks Denver gave up for him.
Me3 might not be a Seahawk anymore but that 2012 3rd round pick continues to pay dividends.

I cannot disagree with that. Good thing they got rid of Russ before Pete allowing us to wait just long enough for Macdonald.

The only player I feel confident in saying they don't like Russ is Sherman. Kam, Wagner, DK, Lynch, Cliff Avril, Bennett, Lockett, multiple players in Denver etc. all stick up for Russ. Bennett just killed Sherman for his goofy take on Russ. Lynch picked him for his all time team and said he was a top 5 teammate of all time in another interview. Even Baldwin in an interview said he was a HOF type player.

Who am I missing? Who hates Russ other than Sherman?
Angry on that Hawks show in You Tube, did not come across as supporting
Me3.
Would you like me to find it? I'm sure others have seen the same show because
it was on here at one point.

Oh right the old he held the ball too long gripe. Same with Geno. Has nothing to do with the turnstile offensive lines. 🙄

What has Pete done since the LOB disassembled? Not a damn thing.

So you're saying our lines weren't historically bad? Just like he only had 3 good years here right? Crazy takes.
So you are going to blame everything on Pete and the line when it's been the same on every team he's been on. Even crazier take. He had 3 elite years and the rest are nothing special with mostly first round playoff exits against low tier playoff teams because the offense lays an egg for 3 quarters.

The trenches are kind of important bud, pete ignored them to a fault. Its football 101 build from within, out.

And let's not forget the historically bad defenses. Bad ya its all Wilson. 🙄

I never said it was all Wilson. I have blamed Pete quite a bit. You are blaming everything on Pete and giving Russell all the credit. So I guess you give Russ all the credit for that first supoerbowl. Lets not give Pete any credit for putting that team together and taking a chance on Russ.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I mean I know folks only read what they want to read. Thats how it works around here. But truth is I never once commented on his career outside Seattle.

I said the majority of his career here , he was playing at a pro bowl level. I also said he was an exemplary teammate, and a great representative of this organization. Again for the people in the back, what he did outside of Seattle is none of my concern, nor do I care.

Did his play fall off once he left here? Yes, but i dont care, because ot didnt effect my team. so I never commented on it nor did I claim his play didnt decline.

But let's not sit here and pretend thay douchbag Peyton ever gave him a fighting chance. And the giants? Nuff said.

I never said I give all the credit to wilson for anything, show the post where I said that please.

I said was he was a great QB, a good teammate, an exemplary representative of this franchis in the community while he was here.

And facts are facts. Pete lost us the next SB, broke up the band, and has been chasing that same magic every year and has failed miserably. After 2014 Pete was ineffective as a coach, and should have been given his walking papers years ago.
