It's an issue of a head coach being smart enough not to put KEY PLAYERS in positions they don't belong in.

Meh… I don’t blame the coaches. I blame the Gb player who drove the other Seattle player into bobo, the. Slid on him to get the ball.. and the officials who clearly during joint practices and this game, “let GB” play while Seattle was on a tight leash. Player safety wasn’t a concern it appears. Even afterwards when Seattle knew something was wrong and immediately kneed and called for trainers at the officials ignored what was going on at first as well as the GB players and team, who kept walking over and around the two unconscious players laying there.

There had been conversation all week, or longer, that Bobo might be able to work as a returner. ST was thought to be something that could cement his spot on the 53.

Horton is our punt returner when healthy. Bobo is a good special teams player tho tbh I’m not sure I would have him returning punts

I haven’t watched the game yet but players who aren’t starters are always looking for ways to get on the field to make themselves more valuable. The best time to get him some work out there was today. I have no issue with the decision.

While Bobo's injury sucks, the Hawks have made it through camp in pretty good shape. The team isn't dealing with issues like the 9ers and Rams are. Finger's crossed that this is a relatively healthy season for the Hawks. And here's hoping I didn't just jinx them.
