only they aren't average, they are one of the worst in the league individually and as a whole. They aren't even sniffing average. Being ranked 29th or 30th is not "average" That's, "we can't run the ball or pass block consistently bad". Bill Walsh could rise from the dead to run this offense, and it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference.

Point is, you dont know how good they are or are bad they arent because of the coaching.

Huff sucked. Grubb cant scheme. Waldron was fired mid-season. And Dickerson was invited to leave.

There is one fact that is indisputable. The coaching on offense has been sub-par at best. And when the guys who were trusted with running things this year a re replaced with competent, caoable coaches, the entire offense will be better for it.

My thing is…the line is largely responsible for everything on offense. Geno’s efficiency…run game…WR stats….everything.

But let’s say, we get our O-line to mid-tier’ish. Everything all around should improve. But, is an aging and seemingly regressing Geno the guy you want running the show still?

I think Geno has a ceiling as high as Darnold, Goff, even Love. But, those squads have top 10 O-lines.

By the time we’d be Top 10, Geno would damn near be 40…

I think it’s time to start taking shots in the draft.
QB? I think we need to take shots in the draft when there are enticing candidates in the draft and within our pick position to take a shot on. This year aint it.

Did he ever say what it is? What a douche thing to do. Just say it or don't say anything.
He learned the annoying concept from Pete.
He is douche for quitting on the field last year.

When Russ was drafted, there were only a couple of QBs that were on everyone’s radar…Luck and RG3.

It’s time Appy. It’s time to take some shots.

That's quite a Quandary...He needs to write a check. He was sometimes average and was paid like a star.
He digs a hole with his bitter take. Hee hee

Denver went all in on oline got a new qb and it worked. Top ranked line....developing qb.

Well I for one now believe in our first year defensive head coach who improved our defense drastically this season. Im thinking coach will definitely address the trenches next year. Quandre was a lazy lousy player and is currently on a bottom feeder team with a terrible defense so I dont know why hes talking.

He could very well be talking about Jody/Kolde.
I really don't think he is referring to anything off the field, which is why I added that caveat. If we assume he is speaking about on the field, what else could it be other than o-line?

Schotty is the only one still employed as OC in the league,

Our best coordinator in a long while, easily. He had games where he would chimp out (Dallas) but other than that he was a solid OC. He may not be flashy, but he was like a Toyota, he got the job done. He also was good at adjustments and he wasn't beholden to one scheme either. If something didn't work with a player, he'd tailor his system, see Russell Wilson. The guy seems to have a knack for bringing up QB's too. Drew Brees went out of his way to thank Schotty for developing him as a passer.

I'd love to see Schotty back if We fire Grubb. Schotty is likely going to be let go because McCarthy is likely on his way out in Dallas, so that would be a possibility.
