Agreed JPatera76. He looked good tonight on a couple plays and didn’t have the usual boner.
I think we cut him eventually and he has success somewhere else but we also are going to enjoy success at the receiver position. Reminds me of the lob cb cast offs. You can’t keep them all

I just dug a wad of lint out of my jeans pocket that have more value than Dee Eskridge.

Eskridge did have that nice jet sweep play that went for like 20. Don't remember anything from him other than that.

Punt returns, nothing special, but punts weren't very returnable and were near sideline. He didn't turn the ball over?

Shenault has a bad rep because the expectations in Jax was that he and Chark would form a dominant NFL starting duo. That never happened because of various reasons.

Shenault is very physical and deceptively fast player on the field. He is basically a lite version of Cordarrelle Patterson due to his versatility.

I wanna know what/who Dee Eskridge has on tape from the organization. I've never seen a leash this long.
The answer is talent.

He has a lot of raw talent. A staff comprised of entirely new coaches retained him because anybody can see that when he plays, he's got a gear that most others do not have.

He broke it out last year against the Niners when he had a really nice return, for instance - and that return wasn't a gimme, either. His burst let him get through the opening which would've closed on many others.

No harm in giving the guy a shot with a new regime, especially if they're going to keep running a lot of jet action stuff.

Also, as a bonus: dude is a scrappy blocker.
