Fair enough but most people admit he probably should have been gone since 2017 or so. I figure if Paul hadn't died and Covid wasn't a thing it would happened around then for sure.
Maybe, worked out in the end though, I can't recall who was available then, but I doubt they'd be as appealing as Macdonald, at least in my eyes, it really worked out for the best.
I just don't like people slamming Pete, it's one thing to think he stayed too long, it's another to imply he's a bad coach and was carried or something.
Belicheck was utter trash until Tom rolled through, yet I don't see the same fervor from anyone calling him garbage or overrated etc
