Let me knee you in the head, see how far you make it.
I went to Parris Island boot camp in 97 where I got kneed in the head kicked in the stomach thrown all over the place. I graduated just fine, Oh, and I went to Iraq for 6 months where I was shot 3 times. Like I said, dudes soft and made of glass. Now, take 2 steps back and shut your mouth.

Sounds good. Most tough guys don't need to explain how tough they are. You on the other hand, are butt hurt over a comment on the internet. Settle down. You ain't about that life.

I did that life 20 years ago. I'm tied of people trying to defending adams when this dude is completely overrated.

Adams took a big shot to the head. It's not like he is a whimp..his problem is he plays ruthless. He will be back after the bye.. no big deal... I can't wait to see what this D looks like with Adams!

Dude gets a mulligan, that just sucks. I'm calling for an official redo on his come back, haha.

Next game for sure, besides he didn't want to over shadow the Spoon show.

Why is this forum sooooo black & white on everything. Adams is really fast and makes some highly athletic plays...sometimes electrifying. However, his tackling on that play was horrific. I chalk it up to cobwebs... but he tackled the grass a yard ahead of the runner with his face in the dirt. That is not the way it is supposed to be done. See what you hit...basic coaching from pee wee league. That doesn't change when you get to the pros.

I am happy to have Adams back and think he can help in the box and across the LOS, but understand we will give up yards at times from plays he whiffs on. It's also highly reasonable to believe he will not make it through the season.

For his own health, he may need to consider retiring after this season. It's unfortunate due to his athletic capabilities...but it might just be the best thing for him and the team.

Ready for the diatribe to follow....

I hope for the best, but expect the worse.

That way, I'm not disappointed by whatever happens.

It was true then when I said it, and it's still true now.

Hoped for the best, the worse happened.

Oh well, I'm excited that we got 9 snaps out of Jamal. That is 4 more than my prediction.

The defense sure as hell didn't need Jamal Adams today though. 11 sacks. Damn. It was a fun game in the 2nd half. PC knows how to get his guys ready.

It's not even the worst trade of the Pete era, but it's really, really bad.
I would like to point out that I have been against the trade-and-sign phenomenon for as long as it has been a thing. If you can't see how the player does for your team *before* giving him a big contract then it isn't worth making a trade. The free agent market is where you give out a contract to someone who hasn't played for you, because at least you aren't giving up draft picks. To give up draft picks AND give out a huge contract before the player has played a single down for you is pure malfeasance. There is a huge logical flaw in every GM who does it.
hey man out of curiosity, what do you think is the worst trade of the Pete era? I think this turned out to be in hindsight, but at the time it wasn't a terrible trade.

I personally think it was the PH trade. In a recent podcast like last week, he admitted he played mostly stoned all the time (so he knew what he was risking) and admitted to taking himself out to sit on the bench a few times in his career.

Id say Graham because of what we gave up in a solid center in Unger, but we also didnt use Graham how we should have, BUT he played more than Percy.

For me it was Jimmy Graham. Especially after how Wilson vouched for him to come here. It just never worked out. It's clear the Seahawks like TE's who can block.

that's true the Harvin trade was really bad. Luckily we were so good it didn't matter, but the guy was toxic

PH we lost a 1st, but lost 2 #1's for JA. However, JA is not a cancer. I think he is a good team player from what little i see. JG sucked 'cuz we lost Unger as well.

I'm hoping JS/PC are done with the splash trades. We tend to lose when we seek the star players.

Trades like Marshawn seem to work better. Good players being held back for some reason. Don't mortgage the farm and get players that have the potential but for whatever reason they haven't excelled, are overlooked, etc.

Adams will be back next game.
With the way he plays the game, he won't last 4 quarters.

I like the heart he plays with, but understand that his playing style carries a significant risk for injury.

If he can't stay healthy for more than a game this season, he might have to hang 'em up.

1st post ever; if he knew had to tackle and kept his head up, which zero players do or learn how to tackle, he actually might stay on the field and be a good player. Guy is just not that good and makes glass look unbreakable.
How would that have saved his quadriceps? Or his fingers?
