How many times do I have to tell you, only turds follow ESPN.

Anyone who even clicks on an ESPN story click bait is all ready feeling the tingles within their body as they transition to something. Probably the village idiot.

Oh my god I know I am going to get in trouble for this post.

How could Jets at Seattle possibly be a 50/50 game? What possible advantage do they have over Seattle (including traveling to Seattle for a New Year's game) at this point? Their analytic is broken.

Jets are better than you are giving them credit for. That’ll be a great game.

ESPN is a flat out comedy. Apparently we are going to win only one more game the rest of the year.

It's so absurd it's not even worth discussing.
Not many football-related posts are shack worthy. I think this one might be. :)

You think that the Jets without Breece Hall are a better team than Seattle? Because a 50/50 analytic suggests that they're currently better on a neutral field.

I didn’t say better, but the Jets even without Hall are better this year than they have been in ages.

Damn..! I had no idea we were this bad, I see no reason to even continued on with the season, we don't have a chance. Give the guys an early vacation and prepare for next year, perhaps by then we will have a decent QB and a new coach who knows what he is doing.
It looks like ESPN hasn't seen the last eight games and are basing their predictions on the day after Hollywood was traded.
Personally I like being the under dog, while everyone is writing us off, we will sneak in the back door. They won't even see it coming.
We may not win all of those games, but we are certainly capable of doing so, we can play with any team in the league and improving every week.
We started the year with no QB and a give out old coach, a bunch of rookies and a few cast offs. Eight games in, we have a top five QB, a genius for a coach, and no rookies left on the team. Those few cast offs aren't too bad either..!
It's a great time to be a Seahawk fan..! GO HAWKS..!

Not quite they think we are going to be favorites to win 1 of our games but for example the home games to the rams and jets are basically toss ups so they think on average we will win one of those.

If you add up the probabilities they expect us to get 3.5 more wins. That is still WAY too low 5 or 6 is more like it. The game that struck me as most crazy was 18% against the Buccs who have lost their last 4 games including the Falcons, Steelers, and Panthers so hardly a tough run.

Analytics is very much garbage in garbage out If you input that Geno is a 773/1255 7yds/attempt 47TD 40INT QB you will get very different results than if you weight it by his recent results.

538 also use analytics they have only publish probabilities for the next two games: Cards 47%, Buccs 48% I think they are still too low, I would make us narrow favorites for them but they are more believable.
