Only the Sonics could bring me back to the NBA. Haven't watched one game since they left. That said, get 'em here and I'm all in again. That's how much it means to me.

Do they get the old name back? Or did Bennett steal the rights to that too?

Seattle Kings has a bad ass ring to it though. However, the sports fan in me loves the whole Sonics name too

We bought him fair and square. AND, he signed an extension to stay in OKC. He'll not be going anywhere for a long time, if ever.

The Maloofs are expected to keep an extremely small percentage of team, but will have no real input or say in franchise, sources say.

No agreement signed, but one source describes deal as "1st and goal at 1." Maloofs history of changing course late still makes many uneasy.

The Seattle group's plans, with support of the NBA, is to play two seasons in Key Arena before moving into a new Seattle arena, sources say.

PStark, I genuinely hope the new Sonics get good, fast. I want a great rivalry, I really do. Gonna be fun to watch.

Screw Kevin Durant. He kept his mouth shut when the sonics were stolen. He is dead to me.

Royce Young ‏@dailythunder
Clay Bennett owns the SuperSonics name and logo, but under the settlement, agreed to turn it over to a new Seattle owner at no cost.
