I will add to that that I am not sure it is entirely correct. I heard a radio interview with Hugh Douglas, who was struggling to learn playcalls when his Philly team doctors had him diagnosed with ADD. So, he got it prescribed and was cleared by the league. The article makes it seem like the league is pretty rigorous in keeping players from just getting it prescribed so they can play better, but Hugh made it sound pretty easy.

I think that if the NFL released the number of players cleared by the league to use Adderol like MLB has, the numbers would be pretty surprising.
