This signing obviously isn't anything that big. I would consider it more of an insurance signing then anything in the event we go through what we did last year when we ended up with a 4th string RB (like qb)

Obviously it's just depth and will most likely split carries with Ellington and the other Johnson. I didn't see the need to make this signing because Kerywnn Williams has killed it every time he has gotten a shot and was hoping to see more of him. But depth never hurts.

Good signing. It's Johnson's last shot at the NFL, and he knows it.
