I think judging by the other night he should just go to a booth. He starts out a season looking pretty decent but his arm is dead by the time the playoffs roll around. The number or interceptions is up because he is floating balls out there now. The chances of him getting a second ring without tremendous assists from a running game and the league is not good.

Good.

I am a petty SOB who spent much of his formative youth growing up in Bronco country, and anything that ties their development to a diminishing quarterback is fine with me.

Is this serious? He's a top ten QB even with a noodle arm.

And he will be next year too. Until the mercury drops.

The end of that article poses an interesting question what do they do with Brock? I haven't watched enough to know if he is capable of taking over in that offense. If he isn't then they are going to have to pretty much blow up a lot of the offense when Peyton calls it quits.

Yes I was serious Peyton isn't getting younger and as the season progresses he declines. There comes a time when all the greats have to retire.,his time seems to be approaching and as of now he is still relatively healthy. I would rather watch him walk off when towards the top than hang out until he's a top twenty QB.

After playing the NFC West defenses this year he is battered and limping to the finish.

It's a young man's game.

I think his coming back was a given since he's only around 2400 yards away from the all-time passing yards record.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/25/john-fox-wants-peyton-manning-to-return/ This is at $21.5million for the 4th and last year of his contract..I think he looks done now and can't see him getting a ring with the Donks..That window closed against the Hawks ..
Good because that means Denver isn't doing anything next year. He looks like he is seriously declining and should retire before it's too late but I guess he thinks he's John Elway or something.

I like the guy,as the Colts are my AFC team and I watched him for years ..The version I see with the Donks is about 60%
of what he ever was pre injury with the Colts..It's sad for me to see him today regardless how good his stats look..He doesn't need the money,I can't believe he thinks he has another year..Brocks rookie contract is up after this season if I'm not mistaken..So that cap isn't looking so hot for him to stay on for more $$$ to sit another year..

He should have quit after the SB, but obviously he loves to be flogged. Hopefully for him, his neck doesn't get that one tweak it needs to parylize him.

It satisfies me that Peyton skipping the NFC West will have no more Lombardis than when he was a Colt.

Can't wait until he retires.

To me him on Denver was like Lebron in Miami......I have to dislike the team because of his presence. As soon as he retires I can go back to being indifferent about the Broncos.
