Spoke with a South African friend of mine, apparently this guy is one of the best rugby players in the world. Would absolutely take a shot and see if he could return kicks/develop into a running back. In rugby the players have to be more evasive runners, there is no such thing as following a blocker or blockers to get yardage, which means he probably would be more naturally gifted as a runner in the NFL and could create more yardage just on pure skill set.
Interesting idea, amazing if we could find our next great running back using this strategy.
