Man I hope Burley isn't inactive, that means we would only be suiting up 3 CBs for this game.

Is that a projection?

Don't see it being reported anywhere and Seattle only needs to put 7 players on the inactive list, not 8,

I still view Shead as more of a safety still so I didn't even think about him. But still, the more CBs the better I say.

We'll know in a few hours who they keep inactive today. We know 4 were listed as out yesterday, so they need to have 3 additional inactives for the game today, but there has been no announcement that I know of yet.

No way Burley is inactive. We need all the CBs we can get for this game.

Then you pick from this then:

Alvin Bailey

Brock Coyle

Ricardo Lockette

Paul Richardson

Mike Morgan

If Helfet, Pierre-Louis, Michael and Simon are all injured (and Norwood too?), then I imagine the other two healthy scratches will be Hill and one of Bates/Walters.

Those first four are confirmed out. Norwood has a chance to play, but wouldn't be shocking if he sits as hes on the back end of the WR roster and isn't a special teams standout like Lockette. Walters has a better chance to play than Bates.

Coyle will probably sit. if something happened to Wagner they would move KJ to Mike and shuffle Irvin and Smith. They like Morgan on special teams.

My guess:
1. Cooper Helfet TE
2. Kevin Pierre-Louis OLB
3. Christine Michael RB
4. Tharold Simon CB
5. Kevin Norwood WR- might as well give him another week to rest his foot
6. Phil Bates WR- Walters is more valuable because of special teams
7. Cassius Marsh DL- give him another week to rest his sprained knee, plus Brock Coyle is more valuable on special teams

Of course, if they feel the injuries to Norwood and Marsh are completely healed (and want to get the rookies some true game reps), this could look completely different.

I think we need all hands on deck for OL. At least Two WRs should be on inactive. Still not quite sure why we're carrying 8 of them. Arguably, we could put three of them on inactive and be fine. I think we can get through a game with Harvin, Baldwin, Kearse, Richardson and Lockette. If Walters is dressed, then I assume he's there for PR depth only.

CB and OL depth is more important right now.

I hope Marsh isn't out. I want to see him wreck tonight.

Seriously OP -- could you please change the title to make it less misleading?

Forecast of inactives or something similiar

Me too . . . especially against Green Bay. But you never want to rush a linemen back from a knee sprain, especially a rookie who is antsy to get back out there and doesn't know his body as well as a veteran does. A partial tear can quickly become a completely torn ligament if not rested enough.
