Just wanted to let anyone interested know that there are two 12th Man flag raisings happening in the city tomorrow and a public viewing of the game in West Van.
Details are:
West Vancouver, BC (2121 Marine Drive) - His Worship Mayor Michael Smith of West Vancouver will be raising a 12 Flag on the Great Lawn in front of the Civic Site (2121 Marine Drive) at 10am on Friday January 31. On Sunday, February 2nd the City of West Vancouver has arranged to show the Super Bowl on a big screen in the atrium of the Community Centre for public viewing.
Vancouver, BC (Library Square, 300 West Georgia St) - 4pm Vancouver Seahawks fans are invited to attend a special 12 Flag raising ceremony in Vancouver on Friday, January 31st 2013. The flag will be raised at 4pm. A limited number of Seahawks "I'm In 12" rally cards will be available on a first come basis.
Going to try to get downtown in time myself.
