We all know the Broncos have the top scoring offense in the NFL this year.. by a wide margin.

Who is sitting tied for the 3rd with the Saints?

Yep. The Seahawks.

Patchwork OL all year. No Percy Harvin. And yet, they are 3rd in the NFL in scoring offense. Pretty damn amazing.

Source? We're 6th in points scored per game. Can't go by total points scored for the season since almost everyone has had a bye except for us, at this point.

6th is still pretty damn good! With that McGriddle turnstyle protecting the blind side, and a 7th round rookie on the right and Unger being in and out.

6th is nothing to sneeze at. Our receiving core is currently Golden Tate and 3 UDFAs (though Doug and Kearse are certainly playing above that level). We've had arguably the worst pass protection all year. It's quite amazing, actually.

I completely agree, sixth is ASTOUNDINGLY good when you consider the fact that we've played what, one game this year with more than three starting offensive linemen, and like four games with only two? We've handled it incredibly well, all things considered. I wasn't complaining; just wondering what metric he was using.

Not to mention we have played 4 of the top 10 and 5 of the top 12 scoring defenses in the league

The nice thing is that we average an 11 points per game differential, which is good.

We've squeaked by a few teams, but you don't that differential by barely winning all of your games, which is what most Whiner fans would have you believe.

Expect that to increase to 15-20 per game :D

If you look at this teams trends. Going back to 2011 with T-Jack it was always the last half of the year where the teams kicks into gear and the OL starts playing well. There is considerable improvement in the rushing games in each of the last 2 years.

Danny on the Brock and Danny show had the figures yesterday.

in 2011 the increase in rushing from 1st- 2nd half of season ~ 50 yards increase in rushing
2012 1st- 2nd half of season ~ 60 yard increase to roughly 175 yards on the ground.

In 2013 with 2 games into the 2nd half of the season ~ 60 yard increase to over 200 yards.

I expect to see this trend continue and to see the offense take off this 2nd half of the year and those point figures should improve.

Who's rushing? We've had Bevell for three years.

Also, putting a Lamborghini in the hands of a child would still make them drive faster. (I'm not saying Bevell is a child, nor do I think it; but using a unique talent like Percy Harvin to prop up Bevell is a bit one-sided, don't you think?)

^ Roland you could argue that Bevell had all off-season to game plan for a game with Harvin and it takes him 10 weeks to adjust the game plan for one without Harvin..........

Uh, we are doing well DESPITE Bevell's playcalling. Dude has been trash, with the exception of maybe a couple games. Wilson is a playmaker, and so are the people he is throwing the ball to. Beast Mode is on another level. When a star like Marshawn gets 9 carries in a divisional rivalry game, there is no way in hell we have a good playcaller. Bevell sucks.
