welp that was pretty cool, Richard seems like a genuinely nice dude. I know that it's not like he's going to be a jerk at a signing but his body language and the way he talked to each person gave a solid impression that he was genuinely happy to be there. He told every person "Thank you for your support" in a way that said he was as glad to meet everyone as they were to meet him.

couldn't get a pic with him because I was there solo.

Clare Farnsworth creepin in the background.

Cool! Not sure what to make of that gaudy tanktop behind him.

Any Russell Wilson sighting?

The Seahawks ProShop posted the following picture on their twitter feed that got the trolls going. So I figure I would add to the fire

Says the guy in a feather boa floating glitter on the wind like a bearded Tinkerbell.

no RW sightings. He's not supposed to be there till later for the "Ribbon Cutting" and i wasn't able to stay that long. but there was a lone grey Wilson jersey in my size so that was a bonus.

Good thing it's sized for females then. I think it's one of the better pieces personally.

It's going with the current fashion trends. Large stripes are actually in style this year.

For the dudes, stadium-scented shirts are all the rage. a light rub of budweiser and garlic fries to your overpriced jersey will alleviate any guilt you have when you soil it yourself.

I hope he wasn't charging people for his autograph. I hate when people do that.

I wouldn't be upset about it. He's still on his rookie contract, he might could use a little extra cash.

No, autographs at the pro shop or other seahawks sponsored events don't charge that I know of. usually those are just at card shops/personal appearances.

Most of the time that money goes to the store. It's also a deterrent from the line being full of merchants just looking to get stuff to ebay. If you have to pay for it you must really want it for yourself and aren't going to turn around and re-sell it, so i don't usually mind if you do need to pay for it. percy harvin just had a signing in mill creek and it was a pay one, I don't really think he needs the money so I'm assuming he wasn't pocketing all of it. I wouldn't be surprised if under the CBA or other NFL rules they required the store to reimburse him for his time/travel etc. since it wasn't hawks/league affiliated but I doubt he thought he would just scoop up an insignificant wad of cash out of greed.

Look at Clare lurking back there, waiting for his opportunity to get an autograph and touch the Great Richard Sherman, creepy!

Kinda like me...
