Seahawks are 9 point favorites, which gives them an 80.7% chance to win, and the falcons are 3.5 point favorites, which gives them only a 35.7% chance to lose. The hawks have : .807 x .357 = .288, or a 28.8% chance to make the playoffs.

Lots of discussion lately on chances, so I figured this might be helpful.

FWIW, Football Outsiders gives us a 33.7% chance to make the playoffs, based on their simulations.

I already promised my wife that if the Panthers win and we make the playoffs, I would go a full week w/out talking about Cam Newton. :lol:
Apparently, I hate him and stuff, and might mention it from time to time.
