Losing to the saints is embarassing. Failing to score consistenly against the worst defense in the league is downright unnacceptable, everyone they played has lit them up yet we have Jimmy Graham who was arguably better than gronk and he cant even muster a TD against them along with the rest of the talent on offense. Oh and also they keep ignoring graham in the red zone were he is the most lethal.

Hopefully this wakes them up. O line needs to play 1000 times better along with the rest of the offense.

But what's the fix?

Does embarrassment make the Oline lay better and Bevell try harder? There is a point when you have to realize that only one phase of your team is elite.

We had 3 YARDS rushing at halftime. Regardless how you slice or dice it, that is pathetic and something you should not see from a legit contender against a crap defense.

You never need a loss. You just need to always win, somehow, someway. If you are playing bad, it is better to win until you get better than to lose and weaken your playoff outlook

Pete will fluff it up and just say the saints played better. Nothing will change and at home next week if we go another game without scoring a touch down.....the BOO's will start

They are still above .500. So thats a plus, but they have some tough games coming up and the way the offense has looked the past 2 weeks it wont be good enough. They made the saints look good for petes sake, o line probably cant be better but they need to atleast work extremely hard to cut down penalties.

probably the worst I've see the offense on this team since Jackson/Whitehurst were here.
I think last week was worse. Of course, we do have some tougher games on the horizon.

No they don't. The upcoming schedule is going to be brutal. The only "easy" game they play is the 49ers.

Look at the defenses of the next three opponents. Bills, Patriots, and Eagles.

Starting to believe no amount of embarrassment with the OL will change their approach with that unit. They think cable is fine and that's all there is to it. NVM that even the rushing attack disappears now that Lynch isn't dragging tacklers and Russ can't threaten the read option.

How exactly is the D supposed to force the refs to call OPI on illegal pick plays? Or stop them from calling ticky tack BS. The Saints had two penalties all game both were false starts.

There is no way to brace ourselves for the crap show we are in for whenever this offense plays a decent D.

If we need this loss for anything, it's to expose Bevell as simply riding Marshawn and Russ' coattails for several years, just like he did Brett Favre's and Harvin's in Minnesota. He's not good, he's just hid behind players who can salvage broken plays.

When given an offense that needs strict directing, he crumples.

We needed Big Balls Pete to go for it on 4th down on that goal line when we were at 17 points, look at the Raiders taking chances. Our WRs aren't breaking one on one tackles like last year. If Doug or Lockett was able to break either one of those single tackles it would of been 6 points, instead we settled for field goals. What happen to our deep passing game? Alot of questions still.

Once Wilson get healthier this offense will get back on track and I think it starts in either the 1st or 2nd week of November.

Probably too late. The talent on this ream could have had a realistic shot at 2 or 3 championships. Instead it has been wasted on bevell and "you win in the fourth quarter"

Yeah, we need losses. 10x L's would make us 10x better, so let's get this L machine started.
