With it looking likely that the Hawks will be playing at Minnesota next week as the Vikings hold a 17 point lead over GB late in the 3rd, its worth noting that Adrian Peterson just left for the locker room with a lower back injury.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson left Sunday night’s game against the Packers in the third quarter with a lower back injury, the team announced. He returned late in the fourth quarter, however, as Minnesota attempted to run out the clock.

Peterson was taken to the locker room for further evaluation.

He said it was a back spasm, he will be good to go next week.
