Why you still have 9 weeks till seasons end, tell me the Por Bowl isn't a popularity contest with voting starting this early.

Why would we vote when they'll all be in Santa Clara anyway?

;)

More bragging rights and accolades for the players.

The timing of this would appear to benefit Michael Bennett, who has never been named to the Pro Bowl before but is coming off the biggest game of his career and is currently tied for the league lead in sacks.

K.J. Wright is another guy who has had a hell of a start to the season, but as a 4-3 OLB, probably won't make the Pro Bowl.

Steven Hauschka is another guy having a career year who has never made the Pro Bowl. His chances seem strong, especially if Seattle fans vote in droves.

This needs to be done during the last two weeks of the season.

The early results for this season's Pro Bowl are in, and three Seattle Seahawks players are among the vote leaders at their positions. Rookie Tyler Lockett is currently the vote leader in the return specialist category with 23,006 votes. Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas are the second-leading vote-getters at strong safety and free safety, respectively, with 25,017 votes and 25,392 votes. Chancellor trails Charles Woodson of the Oakland Raiders, while Thomas trails Tyrann Mathieu of the Arizona Cardinals.

Where is Steven Hauschka? He has never been named to the Pro Bowl, but is tied for the lead in FGs of at least 40 yards and his only "miss" on the season was blocked. I hope to see Hauschka, as well as Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Jimmy Graham, Russell Wilson, Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril, K.J. Wright, Bobby Wagner, Jon Ryan, etc. make a huge surge in the 2nd half of the season. The 12s need to step up too!

Bennett, Wright, and Sherman, maybe.

Nobody else has played at a Pro Bowl level yet.

No love for Earl Thomas? Seahawks are 2nd in the league in scoring defense and total defense, while playing a challenging schedule, so somebody is doing something right.

Good to see that Tyler Lockett is ahead in votes of every other returner. Hope he breaks loose on a few more returns in the 2nd half of the season.
