so i just got done painting these 'Hawks shoes...

hand painted for my sister-in-laws mom. took about 10 hours to complete...

What kind of paint do you use?

I just used acrylic. It has flexibility so that the paint shouldn't crack over time. I'd like to find something more "rubber" but for just the fun aspect of these... I'm happy with how they turned out for the sis-in-law's mom.

I do the same kind of things out of wood or other odd materials so ill post some pics and finish the project

Life sure does get in the way, especially if arts are the hobby. So hard to try and make a career out of it too...

Good job. Your Sis-In-Law's Mom is a lucky woman. I bet she gets tons of folks drooling over these shoes when she breaks them out.

You should consider requests. Not sure what would be worth your time. If those took 10 hrs, probable 200 hundred bucks. You could be like a tattoo artist for someone's shoes.

I would definitely say more than that. That is some high end niche stuff right there. Dumb rich people in the Bellevue area will pay tons for stuff like that. I've seen it first hand.
