The Seahawks are reportedly set to sign free-agent cornerback Crezdon Butler to add depth to a secondary that has been thinned by recent injuries to three backups.
That came from Rand Getlin of the NFL Network, who reports that Seattle will sign Butler on Tuesday. Butler is 28 years old and listed at 6 feet tall and 183 pounds. He was a fifth-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2010 and has played for five other teams since then, most recently with Tampa Bay last season. The only three starts of Butler's career came last year with the Bucs.
