We didn't have a pass completion until 5:36 in the second quarter. Was anyone really surprised? We have run a dumb offense for two years that leaned on one of the greatest defenses of all time. McDaniel was running bunch formations, screens, inside/outside fake reads, all things that we don't even try.

Our offense can be summed up: Run around Russ, create 7 seconds and hope their coverage breaks down. Or run. And failing that, DEFENSE SAVE US! Our 2 minute offense, as usual, looks great because we take risks and play up tempo.

Few outside of the worst teams in the NFL would tolerate this. We need a cohesive offense with no philosophy outside of "Beast Mode isn't working. Defense, bail us out again!"

Edited for language Structural change is needed, from the way we approach drafting offensive players, and especially the offensive line, TEs (utterly neglected), and WRs.

The first quarter offense didn't bother me. We were running the ball, couldn't quite make the plays to convert...you could see the 2ns qrt that it opened up into a successful offense.

In short FIRE BEVELL. Not just for the last play but for the kindergarten play calling throughout the whole game.

The game was served up to us on a golden platter, was ours for the taking, they played well enough to win... up until...

It was about 3 plays.

Because not one fan of ANY team in the NFL believes that Lynch would not have made it in with 30 seconds to go from the 1 and 3 shots at it.

That was clearly an attempt by our OC to deny Lynch the opportunity for SB MVP and it blew up in their face.

If we just have a fan call 3 power plays, that is a win, in spite of all the issues raised.

The Seahawks did everything they needed to do to win EXCEPT they listened to Bevell on that last play. A last play that should never HAVE BEEN the last play.

The fault is 100% on our OC.

The rest of the team fought through officials overlooking blatant grabs and trips, a key defender with a concussion, and half our secondary playing with injuries. Not to mention important starters like Mebane not even in the game at all.

What more do you want? They picked off Brady twice in a SB, and kept him from scoring drive after drive until he finally broke through. Eventually our guys get tired too....

This is a stupid post. Don't be an idiot. You run the ball and you win. Don't blame other shit. It's on the play call.

It was all about one play. Run the ball and we win.

How can anyone really argue that it wasn't about that one play?

The Seahawks did everything to put themselves in position to win the game. And it all came down to one play.
