This time, let's look at the 10-team Big 12. They are the only other power conference that plays a 9-game conference schedule so the teams only have three non-conference games.
Baylor: SMU, Northwestern State, @ Buffalo
Iowa State: North Dakota State, @ Iowa, Toledo
Kansas: SE Missouri State, @ Duke, Central Michigan
Kansas State: Stephen F. Austin, Auburn, UTEP
Oklahoma: Louisiana Tech, @ Tulsa, Tennessee
Oklahoma State: Florida State*, Missouri State, UTSA
TCU: Samford, Minnesota, @ SMU
Texas: North Texas, BYU, UCLA
Texas Tech: Central Arkansas, @ UTEP, Arkansas
West Virginia: Alabama*, Towson, @ Maryland
* denotes game played at neutral site
Nobody's schedule really stands out as head & shoulders harder than the others here. Oklahoma State & West Virginia probably have the strongest cases with their neutral site games. Baylor's my choice for easiest schedule here.
30% (9 of 30) of their non-conference games are played away from home.
