Browning has no pocket awareness, and tends to “drop his eyes” when being pursued.
    Not a good combo.

  • Remember when Washington faced the RGIII-led Baylor Bears in the Alamo Bowl a few years ago and gave up 67 points and 777 yards? This Husky defense looks worse than that one.

Magic 8 ball asks in return, “Is Browning still throwing?” If yes, no chance in hell.

Yeah, one player isn’t that impactful from the receiver position, but he had several nice weapons.

It was the key to the loss. UW hung in there, if anyone is into the moral victory stuff.

Same as last year with Bama.

  • It wouldn't have mattered.

If he goes out of bounds, then we get one more shot on offense...but...

Browning would have been throwing the ball. He isn't going to win you anything.

Good god the Huskies are screwed next year with him as their QB and literally no NFL type of WRs in the wings.

Browning is a guy I was counting the days for him to leave since he became a freshman. Literally squandered a few years of a team that was rife with NFL talent.

    Just garbage.

Unfortunately not as garbage as the guy that preceded him so people thought that meant he was good.

    Nope.

I agree. I was screaming "WHAT?!!!" Should've ran out of bounds and get one more play for the hail mary.

  • Penn State really controlled the game from start to finish. If not for some lucky breaks this was a 2 score game at least, and not as close as the score looked. Teams later in the year found out they could beat Myles Bryant and that was the case again today. I wish Jordan Miller would have been able to come back at some point this year. Byron Murphy and Jordan Miller could have been the best CB tandem in college football before they both went down with injuries I think. But after all the DBs they lost to the NFL and graduation last year they just couldn't handle both those guys going down. Congrats to Penn State fans, good win!

  • I turned the game off 5 minutes in when I saw how it was going to be called.

They weren't going to call offensive holding this game, no matter what.

Unlike Pac 12 officiating, at least they called it even, the Huskies O line got away with it just as much.

But the big issue is that it totally worked in Penn State's favor, because the strength of the Huskies is their D line, and with them held up all day those 3rd and 4th string corners had no chance.

Yea, I was under the impression that one of the Huskies corners would be back, but no dice, not with the ref's looking the other way in favor of offense.

As stated it was not called but sure favored them with our bum shoulder Qb who cannot throw a hail mary even if we could have.

Check out the massive and obvious hold on uw’s first touchdown, or maybe it was the second, I can’t remember. ( the throw down the middle of the field). Also huskies should have had a player ejected on a head shot on a sliding qb which did not even draw a penalty.

Washington lost three of their top four pass catchers during the season, as well as their all-conference left tackle. Their lone remaining WR with any experience, Dante Pettis, didn't play an offensive snap after the first series until the final play of the game because of an ankle injury. On defense they lost their top linebacker to suspension and two starting DBs to injury.

Don't confuse them with facts. UW #24 should have been ejected for targeting. This game was close because UW didn't get a full dose of Saquon. WE ARE!!!
