Curious to see what other 12's opinions are regarding a few players that might be fighting for a spot in the starting 11 or even the 53 man roster come the start regular season. Also, I'm bored.
So, who would you rather have?

1. Bruce Irvin or Malcolm Smith?

2. Golden Tate or Doug Baldwin?

3. James Carpenter or Michael Bowie?

4. Clinton McDonald or Tony McFarlane?

5. Jeremy Lane or Walter Thurmond?

6. Tom Selek moustache or Burt Reynolds moustache?

1) Smith. Irvin hasn't done anything bad, but he hasn't exactly been noteworthy this season either.
2) Doug Baldwin - Tate is good overall, but Baldwin makes the Game Altering Plays, 3rd down conversions and most importantly he SHOWED UP in the playoffs. Golden was a no-show during most of the playoffs. Sorry.
3) Bowie - When I think Carpenter, I just think...ANOTHER PENALTY?!?
4) McDonald? - I don't have a strong opinion on either.
5) Lane - Thurmond messed up with the drugs thing, and I feel like he got beat on some big plays.
6) I HATE YOU I CAN'T GROW A MOUSTACHE!!!

who on earth is Tony McFarlane

The funny part is that people answered it honestly, and he's not even a person.

Pete kept calling Tony McDaniel "McFarlane" through the entire pre-season. It was a running gag for a while among people who followed the team. It's a play on that.

The last question sucks, because Powers Boothe is the clear winner for most badass mustache on the planet.

Ahhh. I vaguely recall that, but I think he only called him that once.

1. Smith (playmaker, 'nuff said)
2. Baldwin (by a huge margin)
3. Bowie (Carp was simply a bad pick)
4. McDonald (appears to have a higher ceiling)
5. Lane (as good a DB as WTIII and good on ST too)
6. Neither....the Aaron Rodgers porn 'stache he was sportin' during preseason

1. Both. Trade KJ and have Smith starting on the weak side. Now, if Irvin is being moved back to the LEO position due to Clemons being cut, keep KJ.

2. Baldwin. Still want two bigger bodied receivers if O-Line is addressed via Free Agency.

3. Alvin Bailey @ LG, Bowie @ RG.

4. Clinton McDonald.

5. Jeremy Lane.

6. Wilford Brimley. Diabeetus.

I can't see Powers Boothe without thinking Jim Jones. He will forever be Jim Jones to me.

Cruce Irvin: I love Malcolm Smith but Irvin is going to be the future at LEO, and if he can continue growing and transforming, himself into a complete football players he's going to become a perennial 12-16 sack guy. Maybe not next year but year 4, I'm expecting something big from him.

Doug Baldwin: Like Smith, I love Golden Tate but his skill set is similar to Harvin's in ways. And every time Harvin touches the ball its like a football masterpiece. Its hard to put into words but simply put its art. Where Harvin is classic rock, Tate is grunge. Baldwin on the other hand frankly to me is the better, more complete, more competitive version of Bobby Engram. Every great QB needs a symbiotic relationship with 1 equally great WR that can possibly define a HoF career... I feel Baldwin is that guy for Wilson. Tate makes amazing plays, no doubt, but Baldwin understands who Wilson is as a QB.

Michael Bowie: Not even an argument. Younger, cheaper, no injury history, more versatile... added up Bowie has more upside.

Clinton McDonald: This was the hardest choice for as each bring their own thing to the table that make them valuable but I love Donny's personality, spirit, and his still has some potential where as Danny is probably at his ceiling.

Lane: Upside, cheaper control, same versatility and one of, if not the best STer in the League as a Gunner w/o the looming suspensions.

Ron Swanson's fakestache.
