I wonder if he would have been more successful if they left him as a safety?

Pete over the years: "Hey let's grab a safety and make them a CB and a guard and make a center and a TE and make them a DE and on and on and on. " Still waiting on the punter to QB and kicker to linebacker failed experiment.

Me, a stupid fan: Hey Pete how about grabbing the player that played for years at a high level at a specific position and play them at that effing position. I know, stupid right?

Poor bastards! Bet he doesn’t make it thru the season without getting cut again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cincinnati Bengals organization during this difficult time.

Also, let’s move our young stud RG and put him at C, then LG.

He was easily the best option for emergency center that game and ended up giving an impressive performance once settled in.

Also, he moved to the left to accommodate the addition of a very good free agent guard in Gabe Jackson.

Not sure why we're clutching pearls

Would Flowers be starting for the Bengals? Love to see how he perform under a different organization.

Bengals said Trey Flowers is looking good and may get some playing time soon at corner...

Trey Flowers started 4 years at Oklahoma State at Safety.
His senior year, he was a 2nd team All American at Safety.

Why is everyone trying to make him a corner...what am I missing??

The college game and its center hash marks are closer together than those of the NFL. The college game sees a bigger open side of the field and a smaller closed side of the field. That's a key difference. It's common for NFL evaluators to project college prospects to a different position for NFL competition. Flowers has the physical play and length that a lot of teams value in a NFL corner. NFL red line teams find length attractive.

Pete must have sent them his practice tape? :sarcasm_off:
He can’t cover, and they’ll soon see that.

His craptastic play hasn’t been missed. Tre Brown 1 game back already outperformed Flowers whole season.

After 11 posts on the same subject, you've convinced me many times over. Ya really don't like Trey Flowers. Of that there can be no doubt. Is there such a thing as enough ...... enough?

I hope he has success in Cinci. The dude did flash playmaking ability early on. And he's capable of being a physical db.

Maybe a new start in a bit different system will revitalize him.

First the travel up to my camp...not good..

Then the bugs all over the place. 80 to hundred of them half in the camper...

Stink bug tried to enter my ear at night...

Then the snake come to visit.

For 3 days, I got 3 hours of fishing in. It can get worse.

Just tired of the “well Flowers may not be that bad” posts. Don’t know if some folks are just trying to be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian or they don’t trust their lying eyes.
