The 2019 and 2020 pass rush disagrees with the notion that we are somehow less susceptible to the cap than other teams, and if we pour 16mil into a blitzing safety our front 4 isn’t getting any better. Better hope Adams gets home every time because it’s a short handed backfield with him blitzing so much, much as fans love to call for the magic blitz.
This OC may be a difference maker or he may not. We’ve had 3 so far already. Sure hope he’s as good as schotty in the red zone.
Personally i expect a half season at most of the offense looking good then a half season of it looking out of sync based on history across OCs. We will see.
