What if Moffit gave us Mannings little secret? I would not be surprised if he has more friends on the Hawks than he does on Denver.

The offensive linemen would not be dialed into route audibles. The Peyton Manning audibles have been over hyped anyways.
The reason the defense did so well was excellent press coverage mixed with pressure from the front four and big hits and great tackling all over the field.

Stats wise (other than purely wins) the 2013 Seahawks match up very very similar to the '85 bears and that was in a significantly less pass happy era.
There's no question in my mind this team is the best defense ever, if they can further next year being #1 they'll cement it.
Most importantly they're students of the game. You can't just hit quarterbacks helmet to helmet like you used to be able to back in the bears/steelers era. Being a student of the game is the only way to reach the next level, Seahawks are it.

They absolutely knew what Manning was going to do on most downs, they took away his 1st, 2nd and 3rd looks and as a result he was stuck in checkdowns all night (averaging only 4.8 y/p, the average Seattle sustained all year against teams).
It's pretty stupid so many are focusing (STILL) on Manning and how he choked when the Seahawks taking Manning off his mark and blanketing receivers was a huge part of him never establishing rhythm.
