Actually, Burns was elevated to take the place of Mike Morris who went on IR this week.

Smith was released to make room for TE Brady Russell who was poached from the Eagles

Not that it really matters in the real world but that is how it went for transaction order purposes

And that's just the changes to the 53....we made more moves on the PS as well and still have room for one more player there, so there will be one more move at some point. I assume they will try to get Smith back for that spot, so hopefully he clears waivers.

This is the first that I've heard of us picking up TE Brady Russell so I referred back to Dane Brugler's Draft Beast Guide and it lists him having only a 34.5-inch wingspan.

That's a pretty short wingspan. Does he have only one arm? If so, we could give him the nickname of the Fugitive.
