Good point. I thought everyone who made rookie minicamp were people signed who were there as rookies …Is it an actual “signing” ?
Or just as n invite to come work out?
How does that situation work, anyone know for sure?
Could be so, I just don’t knowGood point. I thought everyone who made rookie minicamp were people signed who were there as rookies …
I wasn’t being critical of your post.I found this
“The main focus of the rookie minicamps is to get the newly drafted players together and integrate them into their new team’s system. The majority of those rookies were either drafted during the 2022 NFL Draft or signed as Undrafted Free Agents (UDFA).
“However, in addition to the drafted players and UDFAs, there are also “try-out” players. Some of these are other UDFAs who the team did not immediately sign but wanted to bring into their rookie minicamp and see how they fit. There are also some veterans who are also competing for a shot to make the roster. In recent years, the number of “try-out” players was heavily restricted due to COVID-19.“
NFL Rookie Minicamps 2022: Dates, news, and locations for all 32 teams
Following the 2022 NFL Draft, attention turns to rookie minicamps, but what dates are they taking place, and what happens during that time?www.profootballnetwork.com

I truly didn’t know the details of how that stuff works.
Coan has a great arm but zero speed
He thrives from the shotgun guaranteed
and that is pretty much it indeed
I'd love the guy if he could fly
step up and let rushers go right by
but he just is that slow where he cannot
At Notre Dame he was in Shotgun a lot
Nice editIt's just a tryout. If he does well, then we might cut somebody else and sign him to our 90 man roster instead.
