Yet another reason for Pete Carroll to be Coach of the Year! Or Decade! Win Forever Baby!

The record of 10 turnovers in a season is shared by the 2010 New England Patriots and 2011 San Francisco 49ers.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll can be like a broken record to his players emphasizing his belief “it’s all about the ball.” Turnovers are perhaps the single thing he harps on most as a coach, so the thought of potentially matching the league record for fewest turnovers is music to his ears

Seattle also leads the league in turnover margin at plus-14. The Chicago Bears and Houston Texans, both at plus-12, are the only other teams with a turnover margin of at least plus-10.

Good find. A lot of that due to the fact that Carson would rather run over you than have you rip the ball out -- plus, our QB has 3 INTs since week 2....... Insane.

Or that one of Pete’s mantras is “Its all about the football.” Take control of it, get TAKAWAYS not turnovers. Control the ball, on offense and defense. Go Hawks. PC football is back. I wonder how many turnovers we will force against AZ?!?

At +14 and we had a game where we forced 5 (or was it 6) fumbles without a single recovery. That’s crazy

Carson has accounted for 20% of our teams turnovers this season.

Carson has done an amazing job improving his ball security.

Carson has only three career fumbles on 277 rushes. That is over 92 rushes per fumble.

Marshawn Lynch has excellent ball security, despite being another tough, physical tackle breaker. Marshawn averaged 87 rushes per fumble (28 fumbles on 2,441 rushes). He had 3-5 fumbles each year from 2010-14.

The myth that Carson has a ball security issue should be put to bed.

That’s an incredibly misleading stat, given that the Seahawks are on pace for the fewest turnovers ever and the offense has been run focused.

I hope your New Year’s resolution is to admit you were DEAD WRONG about Chris Carson, in constantly deriding him as “just a guy” and never backtracking.

Carson is the team’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2014; he has consistently run the ball well, battling through injuries; he has kept his fumble rate low; he is an excellent receiver and pass blocker; he has an incredibly high tackle-breaking rate; and he is and one of the NFL’s top five graded RBs.

And Wilson has accounted for 100% of the interceptions. What's the point in this thread again?
